Mission Statement
Golden State Giant Schnauzer Club

This club is committed to the welfare and advancement of the Giant Schnauzer. Our interest are as varied as our dogs – our members and their beloved dogs compete in conformation, agility and obedience, do therapy work, search and rescue and are true companion animals. What binds all of us is the love of this magnificent breed.

To this end, the club will strive to enhance the breed and their owners in three (3) major areas:

Education: We will make a concerted effort to educate and help new Giant Schnauzer owners; particularly in the areas of temperament, grooming and training. Additionally, we will sponsor seminars in the areas of health, grooming, training and handling.

Fun: For both the novice and longtime owner we will organize events, which will emphasize the companionship of the breed (i.e. fun dogs, social gatherings, costume parties).

Cooperation: In order to further the ownership of the breed, we will encourage sportsmanship and fellowship by holding social events and club meetings at various show sites in our region.
